4.08T Light NATO Towing Pintle and slider plate

Description

4.08T Light towing pintle mounted on a Dixon Bate (now Bradley Doublelock Ltd) slider plate No. DB202091/2 pin.  There is a reinforcing plate on the reverse of the slider plate.

Suitable for a towing eye with I.D. 75.00mm (3 inch NATO eye)

The lower lock secures the jaw in one position or allows it to rotate through 360°. The lock is secured with a steel pin and clip.
Towing pintles are the only products designed to tow trailers fitted with a military 3 inch NATO towing eye.  The rotating allows the trailer to rotate independently of the towing vehicle when off-road.  The pintle can be locked in a fixed position when necessary making it suitable for normal on-road usage.
